Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented intern to support our Trade Operations team in a reorganization and digitalization project to create a consistent, accessible, and secure filing/records system, and to perform pre-transaction checks for trade transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reorganization and digitalization of trade records: Classify, index, and migrate paper and electronic files into the new filing system.
  • Ensure records are stored consistently, securely, and are easily retrievable.
  • Perform pre-transaction checking for trade transactions: Verify documents against application forms, confirm completeness, flag missing or inconsistent items.
  • Maintain accurate tracking logs of checks performed and records updated.
  • Work with team members to refine checklist templates, naming conventions, and access controls.
  • Support ad-hoc administrative tasks related to operations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Degree in Business, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills and comfortable with repetitive, process-driven work.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow established procedures.
