Yit Hong Pte Ltd – Key Account Trainee

Yit Hong Trading Company was established in 1954, and was converted to a Private Limited Company in 1968. The Company specializes in Canned Food trade. Our range of products comprises of canned meat, canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned seafood, health drinks, snacks and seasoning. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the assigned modern trade accounts
• Build and strengthen the relationships with buyers, outlets’ personnel and relevant parties to ensure smooth operations eg. Stock ordering, replenishment and etc
• Identify new business opportunities with potential clients
• To be responsible for delivering sales volume to meet targeted sales objectives
• Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty
• Analyse market needs, develop account strategies and propose to respective customers
• Present and propose new product listing with supermarket chains and implement new products’ launching activities
• Plan and submit promotion proposal
• Lead and supervise a team of merchandisers to ensure the outlet visitation and product’s display in order to improve visual merchandising of products
• Propose and executive ways to expand product display for brand awareness in outlets
• Work with other department such as marketing, purchasing and operation.
• Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
• Conduct assessment and market survey to identify marketing and advertising solutions, develop proposals and deliver sales presentations
• Respond to enquiries & complaints and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction and to maintain the company’s reputation
• To analyze, evaluate and report to Sales and Marketing Manager on the sales performance, competitor’s pricing, competitor’s activities, as well as customer feedback
• To perform any other duties as and when assigned

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or higher education preferably in Business / Marketing 
• 2 years of relevant working experience in FMCG industry / Modern Trade
• Willing to travel to assigned locations within Singapore
• Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with the English and Mandarin speaking associates
