We are looking for a motivated and curious Operations Intern to join our team!

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the ready-mix concrete industry, from production planning and quality control to logistics coordination and plant operations.

Working alongside our experienced Plant Managers and operations teams, you will gain valuable insights into how people, processes and technology come together to ensure efficient and timely concrete deliveries.

What You'll Be Doing
1. Production & Quality Control

• Support daily concrete production activities and sampling processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Gain hands-on exposure to concrete batching processes and production control systems.
• Learn how production operations are managed to meet customer requirements.

2. Operations & Inventory Management

• Assist in monitoring and recording daily raw material deliveries and receipts.
• Participate in stocktaking and inventory reconciliation to ensure accurate material tracking.
• Understand how raw material availability affects production planning and operational efficiency.

3. Logistics & Dispatch Coordination

• Gain exposure to order processing and dispatch operations at our Central Command Centre.
• Learn how customer orders are scheduled and coordinated across batching plants.
• Assist in understanding truck turnaround times, fleet utilisation and delivery planning for large-volume orders.

4. Process Improvement & Operational Learning

• Observe daily plant operations and identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations teams to understand and address day-to-day operational challenges.
• Develop practical problem-solving, coordination and analytical skills through real-world assignments.
