We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Production Intern to join our team at our Tuas production plant!

This internship offers an exciting opportunity to step beyond the classroom and experience the fast-paced world of precast concrete manufacturing.

Working closely with our Production Engineers, Foremen and operations teams, you will gain practical exposure to production planning, quality control, resource optimisation and delivery coordination.

You will also discover how engineering, people and processes come together to transform technical drawings into finished precast concrete components.

What You'll Be Doing
1. Production Planning & Coordination

• Assist in planning, scheduling and monitoring daily production activities in accordance with the Production Engineer's plans.
• Support the preparation and coordination of daily production and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with Production Foremen and workers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production activities.
• Gain exposure to managing production priorities, resources and operational requirements.

2. Production Operations & Problem-Solving

• Support the production team in identifying and resolving day-to-day operational challenges on the production floor.
• Monitor production progress and assist in addressing issues that may affect productivity or delivery timelines.
• Learn how production activities are coordinated to meet project specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.

3. Quality Assurance & Workplace Safety

• Participate in inspections of incoming materials, work-in-progress and completed precast components.
• Learn how quality control procedures are implemented throughout the manufacturing process.
• Support compliance with workplace safety procedures and regulations within the production yard.
• Develop an understanding of the importance of quality, safety and accuracy in precast manufacturing.

4. Resource Management & Process Improvement

• Assist in monitoring raw material usage and identifying opportunities to minimise wastage.
• Gain exposure to production efficiency, resource optimisation and cost-conscious manufacturing practices.
• Observe existing workflows and contribute ideas to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.

5. Delivery & Project Coordination

• Assist in coordinating the movement and delivery of completed precast components to project sites.
• Understand how production schedules are aligned with construction project timelines.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to support timely deliveries in accordance with client requirements.
