Job Description

Customer Service & Operations Intern

We are looking for a Customer Service & Operations Intern who will be a part of the Customer Service team. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will also be assisting in the fulfilment of orders, handling inbound enquiries and managing walk-in clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming orders professionally, through various medium for customer service, ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and accurately
  • Process product orders, including compilation, confirmation and amendment of orders
  • Handle product and service enquiries of customers effectively, proactively suggesting information about products and services, and attracting potential customers in the process
  • Attend to walk-in customers for self-collection or for ordering of products
  • Assist in handling customer feedback and complaints and providing necessary service recovery
  • Handle administrative duties which include designing and printing of customized cards, toppers, labels and printing of invoices

Requirements

  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Pleasant disposition and cheerful personality
  • Passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customer
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs
  • Ability to listen, think and respond effectively to customer needs and request
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a good team player
  • 4 day work week, but must be willing to work weekends
