Be a Digital Fab Lab Intern at NTUC Health Active Ageing Centres!
Join NTUC Health's Digital Fab Lab and help seniors discover the exciting world of digital making.
As a Digital Fab Lab Intern, you will support workshops in 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and Digital Embroidery, while helping seniors learn new skills and create meaningful and practical projects. This is an opportunity to combine technology, creativity and community service while making a positive impact on the lives of seniors.
Workshop Support:
- Assist trainers during workshops on 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and Digital Embroidery
- Guide seniors during hands-on activities and encourage them as they learn at their own pace
- Prepare materials, equipment and workspaces before and after workshops
Fab Lab Operations:
- Assist with the setup and basic operation of 3D printers, laser cutters and embroidery machines
- Help maintain equipment, organise materials and ensure a safe and tidy learning environment
Creative Project Development:
- Support seniors in designing and creating personalised, practical or meaningful projects using digital fabrication technologies
- Contribute ideas for projects, exhibitions and community events that showcase seniors' creativity

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with seniors
- Has an interest in technology, creativity and hands-on making
- Is patient, responsible and willing to learn
- Has basic computer skills
- Experience with Tinkercad is preferred but not required
