Background:
The Global Foodservice Channel Team is in place to provide strategic leadership across our 4 core global channels: Bakery, Italian Kitchen, Beverage House and QSR. This team is primarily designed to lead and accelerate effective strategy that ultimately enables the growth of our business with our foodservice customers globally.
Overview:
The right candidate will be tasked to support the Global Channel Development Manager – QSR. He/she will be an integral member of the team to build strong expertise and understanding of consumers and customers, which will help grow the Foodservice Channel with strategic customers globally.

Key Project(s):
New Foodservice Channel Expansion
- Be a key part of growing the business where you & the team will help to rollout new foodservice channels in multiple markets.
- Build deep knowledge of consumer trends, key foodservice customers, customer
challenges through research, listening and analysis - Identify and map customer segments and shortlist key opportunities
- Develop activities that help countries to launch new channel, which include:
o Customer selection criteria
o Identifying customer needs/challenges
o Developing selling stories to meet customers’ needs - Build your storytelling skills while meeting customers’ needs by partnering with
internal stakeholders (channel managers, chefs, key account managers) - Create unique sales materials (presentations, case studies, videos, one-pagers,
website copy, blogposts, one-pagers, competitive talking points) tailored to potential
customers
Secondary Project:
Along with another intern, work on a cross functional project to address one of our
company’s needs and will present your recommendation to senior leadership
Key Skills & Attitude:
To be considered for an internship with Fonterra, you need to meet the following requirements:-
- Undergraduate majoring in Business, Economics or Marketing with a local Universiry in Singapore and has strong academic credentials and good analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Marketing, Strategic Management and/or Data Analytics, Market Research
background - Savvy in interpreting trends and able to generate insights from observations and/or
desk research - Strong communication and story-telling skills – able to communicate key findings in
succinct and impactful manner - Passionate about food, prior F&B experience is a bonus
- Positive and enthusiastic team player who can collaborate across cultures
- Good balance of creativity and business insight
- Strong project management skills with ability to get things done
- Self-motivated and works well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to speak and write in fluent English
