Background:
The Global Foodservice Channel Team is in place to provide strategic leadership across our 4 core global channels: Bakery, Italian Kitchen, Beverage House and QSR. This team is primarily designed to lead and accelerate effective strategy that ultimately enables the growth of our business with our foodservice customers globally.
Overview:
The role will be tasked to support the Global Channel Development Manager – Content to build expertise within the foodservice business and drive capability. The right candidate will play a key role in providing tools and materials aimed at equipping sales leads with customer engagement tools, developing capability of Fonterra sales leads globally for a customer evaluation tool, improving our communications via an internal online platform.

Key Project:
Development Of Customer Engagement Tools
Fonterra has developed a restaurant evaluation tool which helps sales teams identify consumer & customer needs (spot problems, inefficiencies) during store visits. This tool aims to gather intel for Fonterra to leverage and develop unique selling propositions. The intern is responsible to:
Review multiple restaurants evaluations across different markets to identify common gaps
Link customers’ needs to selling opportunities for Fonterra
Conceptualise ideas and create B2B marketing solutions/materials
Present & test B2B marketing solutions/materials in-market to measure effectiveness
Work with external agencies to design & finalise creative B2B marketing materials
Create & implement launch communications plan for internal stakeholders on online platform
Secondary Project:
Along with another intern, gain access to customers and/or consumers to work on a project which addresses one of our company’s needs. Present your recommendation to senior leadership
Key Skills & Attitude:
Students from Marketing, Business Administration and/or – Advertising,
Communications background with a local University in Singapore
Passionate about food, prior F&B experience is a bonus
Strong project management skills with ability to get things done
Positive and enthusiastic team player who can collaborate across cultures
Self-motivated and works well in a fast-paced environment
Possess excellent communication & leadership skills
Able to speak and write fluent English, Bonus – Mandarin
Bonus - Data visualisation experience, Excel or Tableau skills
