Job Position: Tech / Data Analyst Intern

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Singapore 

Working for BioMark

• You will be working for BioMark, the digital arm of a holdings company that sees a patient flow of millions annually.

• Very closely collaborate with the data and tech team - you will develop a rich background in the technical underpinnings of a health tech company.

• The work you do WILL give your insight into every facet of a tech start-up including business development, software development, stakeholder-reporting, operations, infrastructure and data.

• Above all, you will be part of an effort to transform the way doctors and patients receive and make sense of their laboratory results.

Must have hard-skills:

• Programming knowledge, preferably in Python.

• SQL Querying

• Power BI (or similar tools)

• Knowledge of basic Excel (Vlookups, Pivot-Tables, basic formulas, etc)

Not mandatory, but nice to have hard-skills:

• Competence in libraries used to work with various file types, e.g. JSON, CSVs, XML files, etc.

• Knowledge of cloud services (especially AWS)

• Familiarity with health data standards (FHIR/HL7)

Key Soft skills:

• Strong execution bias - a track record of getting things done

• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving

• Skilled at independently finding the right resources to help you navigate through any problem.

• Confidence in bringing suggestions and ideas to the table

• Proactive and constantly looking for ways to improve and benefit the company

Job scope includes (but not limited to):

• Work closely with the Data Science team to frame business questions as data projects to be scoped out and executed on.

• Data Analysis - creation of dashboards for the visualization of various business metrics.

• Create and orchestrate ETL operations.

• Identify and analyze operational bottle-necks, diagnose root causes and devise necessary fixes.

• Day-to-day data operations.
