The Red Pencil (Singapore) is an Institution of Public Character and a registered charity founded in Singapore with a mission to bring the benefits of creative arts therapy (drawing, music, movement and dance) to less privileged children, adults and families who have been through overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence and abuse, for which they may have no words.
Information Technology Intern (Part-time / Full-time)
About the Internship:
We are seeking a motivated intern to join our team and contribute to our digital transformation project aimed at implementing a new CRM (customer relationship management) system into our daily operations. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field and make a significant impact on our organisation's digital transformation journey.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the different CRM system and their applications in the charity and social services sector.
- Support planning and execution of CRM initiatives.
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation for CRM development.
- Contribute to CRM implementation and testing.
- Document project progress and prepare reports.
- Support the Fundraising team in various administrative tasks as needed and help organise & co-ordinate fundraisings events.
Qualifications:
- Preferably currently enrolled in a Diploma/ Bachelor's/ Master's programme in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in data analytics.
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Duration of Internship:
6 months (minimum 3 months)
Daily Working Hours:
9.00am - 6.00pm
