Company Profile

We are the officially appointed licensee (appointed by FC Barcelona), of the FC Barcelona Football Academy in Singapore. 

The academy operates out of Nexus International School and provides the finest football education for girls and boys aged 5 to 16.

Using the same methodology that produced household names such as Messi, Iniesta and Pique, by joining the academy, players will experience what it means to represent and play the FC Barcelona way.

We run 8-week programs for the academy for both beginners and advanced players, 3/5 day football camps and clinics and tournaments both locally and internationally. 

Each of our training sessions is created by our FC Barcelona coaches to ensure quality time to learn and adapt to the philosophies of the Club. Each player will be taught the famed syllabus of FC Barcelona.

Our training sessions cover: Ball Possession, Player Movement, Technical Skills, Decision Making and Team Play

The business is owned and operated by locally based entrepreneurs and has ambitious growth plans in Singapore and the region. 

Job Description

The job is for a Customer Support Intern. It involves 

- Support Business Development in converting leads generated by the marketing team to paying members of the academy. This involves moving leads down the sales funnel online through a combination of Whatsapp messages and calls. You will invite and coordinate player trials at the academy and then send the players and their parents proposals to join the academy and communicate with them until they either convert to paying players or outright reject the offer made. 

- Process payments and send invoices to players who have paid 

- Support the business development team in managing the database of new leads and existing players. This inviolves ensuring all details are correct and that status of each lead is up to date 

- Deal with Existing Customer Service / Queries (face to face, tel, whatsapp, email) 

- Assist the business development team in complying with our internal customer-related service level agreements that include quick response times to all queries made through Whatsapp, email, on social media and calls. 

- Speaking to new prospects at the trials and selling our academy programs to them 

The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to connect with people and must be comfortable selling programs to parents. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a level of comfort with CRMs and other SaaS products will be required. Weekends are critical to this business so the candidate will be required to work on some weekends and also evenings on weekdays. The job will be based in the Aljunied area of Singapore.
