The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI) was established in 1956 and is an independent non-profit organization. We play a proactive role in representing the interests of the local Malay/Muslim business community.
In line with our mission to nurture a vibrant entrepreneurial culture amongst local enterprises, SMCCI serves as a platform to create invaluable opportunities for members through regular business missions, conferences, networking sessions and activities to bridge members and the business community to the local and overseas markets. Together with our subsidiary, SME Centre @SMCCI, we advocate strengthening core competencies while increasing knowledge and enhancing internal capabilities to achieve growth and success for their businesses.
Admin Support:
- To assist with membership related administrative support such as:
- Print membership certificates
- Print membership cards
- Print 100% MOE certificates
- Print and packing membership sales kits
- Or similar
- Organise and update the Membership Database
- Update of addresses
- Digitize membership forms according to member individual folders
- Collect company write-up, JPEG image, professional photo, ACRA
- Booking Meeting rooms for MS Prospect Meetings
Research & Marketing Support:
- Research and source potential 100% MOE clients as leads for ESP department at a minimum of 10 per week
- Research and source for Malay-Muslim companies as potential members for Member Services Department at a minimum of 10 per week
- Calling members to attend events and workshops
Membership Projects:
- Explore CRM options that links to Xero to effectively manage membership management and reporting needs. Test and go live before end of internship period.
- Propose a Members’ Wall concept and kick off the first 30 members profile.
