SEAMEO Regional Language Centre is an educational project of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization located in Singapore. Since it began operations in July 1968, SEAMEO RELC has worked to develop and support language education in the countries of Southeast Asia. Since it's inception in July 1968, SEAMEO RELC has not ceased to strive towards higher goals in the service of language education of the countries of South East Asia. The members of SEAMEO are: Brunei Darrussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam. Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and Spain are associate members.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative and secretarial duties for the General Manager
  • Set up and maintain General Manager’s office working files
  • Monitor telephone calls and receiving visitors to General Manager’s office
  • Manage GMIH’s calendar, schedule meetings and appointments
  • Maintain and prepare departmental and business correspondences
  • Schedule meetings, draft and disseminate minutes
  • Compile monthly management reports and documents for submission
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Liaise with Senior Staff for follow up on queries, deadlines, reports and submissions
  • Administer and submit training and overtime records
  • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc billings, as well as new and renewal tenancy agreements for tenants
  • Assist in special projects when required
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by General Manager of International Hotel Division
  • To undertake any other duties which may be determined by the Centre Director
