We are looking for a product-focused Data Analyst Intern adept at storytelling with data. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Google Analytics and data mining skills to transform data into valuable information and insights that can drive Business Intelligence (BI) features. The Data Analyst Intern will demonstrate a keen interest in understanding loyalty engagement behaviors. They will collaborate closely with our backend engineers, data engineers, and business users on various data initiatives. The candidate should be self-directed and able to effectively support the data requirements of multiple teams, systems, and products.
What’s the role?
Data preparation: Design data groups and labels. Labeling and formatting of data for pre-import format compliance.
Design logic and rules to combine data from multiple sources.
Analyze and discover insights from raw data and reports.
Identify data gaps and propose new data metrics that can add value to our Business Intelligence solution.
Provide data analytics consulting services to internal stakeholders and clients, including data analytics planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in a business analytics or relevant field, with experience in analytics (undergraduate or postgraduate studies)
Proficiency in Google Analytics and other third-party analytics tools.
Experience creating reports and visualizing data.
Ability to interpret data using statistical techniques and generate ongoing reports.
Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in complex datasets.
Capability to clean and filter data to ensure accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Effective troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills.
A collaborative mindset and a customer-oriented approach.
Demonstrated urgency, drive, and ownership in completing tasks.
