Grand Banks Yachts is seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics & AI Intern to support manufacturing, operational and business analytics initiatives. The intern will work with multiple datasets to generate actionable insights and improve management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities 

Analyse manufacturing and operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations using Excel, Power BI and other analytics tools. 

Support analysis of production planning, labour utilisation, inventory levels, work-in-progress and vessel profitability. 

Clean, organise and validate large datasets from multiple sources. 

Apply AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate data analysis and generate business insights. 

Evaluate and utilise tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other AI platforms for manufacturing and business applications. 

Research and propose practical AI use cases to improve manufacturing efficiency, reporting and decision-making. Prepare presentations and summary reports for senior management.
