Datakrew Pte Ltd – Data Acquisition Intern

Datakrew develops IoT and AI solutions for EV fleet intelligence, vehicle diagnostics and performance monitoring. You will support planned vehicle data collection at fleet locations and workshops, then organise and check the captured logs. The focus is on reliable data acquisition, documentation and basic validation, with guidance from the engineering team.

What you will do

• Coordinate collection sessions with the team and customer contacts, prepare approved logging devices, tools and checklists.
• Configure data logging using approved settings and capture CAN bus or diagnostic data during authorised vehicle operating and charging scenarios.
• Record vehicle and device identifiers, timestamps, test conditions and observations so every dataset has clear context.
• Check logs for missing records, incorrect timestamps, interruptions and unexpected values, flag issues and support repeat collection when needed.
• Organise, label and securely upload logs, maintain collection trackers and prepare short summaries for engineering review.

Who should apply

• Pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical or Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• Interest in EVs and data, attention to detail, and confidence using spreadsheets and keeping structured records.
• Basic Python, JSON, CAN bus, OBD-II or Node-RED exposure is helpful, not mandatory. Academic and personal projects count; prior industry experience is not required.
• Clear communication in English and willingness to travel to customer sites and follow approved data handling and vehicle safety procedures.
