Title: Data Analytics & Marketing Intern
We are looking for a Data Analytics & Marketing Intern with experience in sales and marketing of a software product whilst having exposure to basic data analytics and managing large datasets.
Expect to be involved in the growth of the company in the local and new markets and d in key product & market development.
We frequently work in small teams to solve problems, explore new technologies, and learn from one another. The ideal intern for this environment will be enthusiastic and collaborative.
Responsibilities
You will be involved primarily in two teams, the sales and marketing department and the intelligence(data science) department. The ratio of involvement would be 60:40 respectively.
Supporting the Account Management of a client’s portfolio.
Managing data extraction and delivery process. Specifically, using the company’s internal application to run data extraction projects.
Marketing responsibilities focus on content creation around subject matter of data science. This involves churning out blog content
Data Analytics responsibilities focus on managing large datasets, supporting the processing and analysis of the data into insights that can be shared with clients.
Requirements
Excellent content writing and communication skills
Ability to work in teams
Good to have a keen interest in business insights (BI), data science and software products
Good to have - basic python & R understanding [no hard requirement to write code but good to understand]
