Ginward (Asia) Pte Ltd – Financial Analysis Intern

We are currently looking for 1 final-year or penultimate-year undergraduate, or current masters' degree intern to analyze target companies between Jul and Dec 2019. In doing so, you will get an opportunity to:

• learn about the latest scientific and business developments in the healthcare, biotech and life science sector
• gain exposure to corporate finance and private investments
• develop an entrepreneurial mindset as we work closely with entrepreneurs

Financial Analysis Intern will be tasked with:

• analyzing business plan, financials of target companies
• learning about and understanding target company's tech and products
• conducting market and competitors research
• financial analysis and valuation
• presenting findings to the team
• other tasks assigned by the team

Eligibility

Ideally, we are looking for intern(s) from the following disciplines:

• business, finance, economics

Please do not hesitate to apply if your discipline is relevant to healthcare and biotech PE VC but is not mentioned above.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates who are:

• critical thinkers and creative problem-solvers
• open-minded and eager to learn new things
• meticulous
• able to synthesize new knowledge quickly, and explain it in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
• good and efficient at communicating analysis in a suitable format
• proficient with valuation and financial analysis

Preferred year of study:

• Penultimate-year or final-year undergraduates
• Fresh graduates
• Current postgraduate students

Students enrolled in local universities, exchange students to Singapore, Singaporean/PR students studying abroad are welcome to apply. Foreign students should produce proof of candidature in local universities and/or authorization to intern in Singapore.

A monthly stipend is offered to successful applicant; accommodation and transport are not provided. Foreign students are advised to consult their schools for matters relating to overseas internship.
