Job Description

About the Role

This role supports the Business Development Team in onboarding and servicing of merchants using the company's digital payment solutions. It involves processing applications, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining CRM records, and assisting merchants throughout the onboarding journey. This internship provides practical exposure to fintech operations and business development in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development team in onboarding new merchants onto the Company's digital payment solutions
  • Assist in processing merchant applications and reviewing documentation for completeness
  • Follow up on pending cases and liaise with internal teams to resolve bottlenecks
  • Respond to merchant queries and guide them through required steps
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records and merchant trackers
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business Development team as required

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales and Marketing or related discipline
  • Good understanding of digital payment processes, pipelines, workflows, and tools would be a plus point
  • A ability to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous stakeholders
  • Analytical and independent with good problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin in order to communicate with both English and Mandarin-speaking merchants
