The architectural department is keen to employ a focused, talented and qualified Architect with strong technical aptitudes. Our growing portfolio provides the opportunity to expand design ability alongside statutory capabilities in an integrated environment with fabrication and construction team members.
The self-motivated candidate will demonstrate the ability to be a proactive team player, who can work well on their own, provide synergy between numerous and varied members in an organization that encourages innovation solutions key to delivering client expectations.
Core responsibilities and work delivery for this new position are:-
*Design projects, preparing and presenting design proposals using CAD and traditional methods.
*Translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into CAD systems.
*Produce design and Technical drawings/support.
*Read, evaluate and interpret designs and drawings.
*Ensure design/details conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards
*Collaborate with the Build Teams on technical matters
*Assist in the procurement of architectural building elements
The applicant will possess aptitudes and skills that include:-
*Degree or equivalent in an Architectural discipline
*Revit & AutoCAD applications.
*Proven awareness of statutory building procedures.
*Dealing with site/construction problems, RFI’s etc. as they arise during construction phase
*Ability to recognize improvement and meet deadlines.
*Hard working team player with good management and communication skills.
*Understanding of building processes, sequencing and associated interface detailing.
*Good IT awareness with all Microsoft applications and the ability to grasp new software quickly.
*Experience including ability linked to visualization with computer aided rendering and animation.
