Job scope of Marketing Assistant/Intern

To support Regional Marketing Manager in the following areas:

• Work with designers/agencies to standardise  product brochures based on the new Barry Callebaut brand visual identity
• Create an online marketing platform (using google sites or equivalent) with the aim of sharing marketing resources and information with cross functions
• Work with data from various research databases (Mintel/Euromonitor/Innova), analyse trends and insights within chocolate application categories (such as confectionary, biscuits, ice-creams), collating and organising them to support various sales and marketing presentation.
• Work closely with in-house Chef to consolidate product concepts into a menu card, with the purpose of facilitating various customer’s inspiration sessions & meetings.
• Assist in any new product launches to deliver and execute a full launch plan which includes marketing  communication materials, product photoshoot, sample kits etc
• Assist regional marketing team to execute Inspiration Days (a form of customer road show) to inspire customers with Barry Callebaut’s product concepts and ingredients.
• Manage the above activities within the allocated marketing budget, including handling vendor payments with Finance team.
• Other Marketing Operations such as Marketing tools stock monitoring and process request

Candidate should have

• Marketing/communication/business academic background as a pre-requisite
• 1-2 working experience in a marketing position (preferred)
• Prefer team player with an outgoing personality as the role requires a lot interaction with cross functions such as Sales and R&D department.
• Fresh grads who were office bearers in school committees or have held any leadership roles in any groups/organisations will also be considered
