Job Description

The M&A Advisory unit has immediate position for internship. The intern will have the hands-on opportunity to work with our consultants in the early stage of the deal making process and learn about the M&A process. Their main role will be to assist in research and data collection and analysis work. There may be other opportunistic tasks allocated based on the candidate’s interest and how the situation develops.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct market research on industry and companies
  • Understand buy side M&A requirements and identify potential target firms
  • Monitor news & earnings report presentations to ascertain client needs for M&A
  • Current pipeline analysis to generate more M&A deals and management of the growing pipeline
  • Synthesize your findings and present to key project stakeholders

Qualifications

Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to articulate ideas clearly to stakeholders with both qualitative and quantitative support
  • Self-motivated & independent
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of Company databases (Speeda, Capital IQ, Orbis) preferred
  • Interest in Japanese business culture is an advantage
