Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for the shift operations at the front of house
  • Identify issues or problems and report and discuss with AGM/GM for solutions
  • Conduct daily briefing before operations start
  • Schedule service staff roster and deployment
  • Responsible for the service payroll administration
  • Ensure inventory system is properly recorded, updated and stock take of inventory is properly accounted and prices updated in the system
  • Provide orientation, training, guidance and evaluation of Casual Servers
  • Ensure that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the dining areas at all times
  • Maintain high standard of personal hygiene of service team, inspect uniform and grooming during shift
  • Establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for dining areas and equipment
  • Ensure daily service checklists are done during shift to ensure SOP is being followed
  • Interview, select and shortlist potential service candidates
  • Evaluate service staff performance, disciplines and terminates as and when necessary
  • Recommend salary increment, job transfer or promotion for staff twice a year
  • Conduct weekly meeting with team and give feedback on their performances
  • Create a sound and strong relationship with all staff and help develop their maximum potential
  • Maintain good relationship with team member and back of house staff
  • Resolve any customer complaints by taking prompt and appropriate actions to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Monitoring, evaluating and auditing food and beverage and service offerings with guests to get feedback and build relationships with them
  • Working knowledge of various computer software program (MS Office, Chope, etc)
  • Perform other duties as directed

This position is concerned with the overall activities and managing the restaurant operations. Maintaining of high service standards and cost control.
