Business Development Interns
The job description and the duties of the Intern will be as follow:
Reporting to the Business Development, you will be responsible for supporting him in researching, identifying and targeting new business prospects. This entails intelligence gathering, prospecting, and targeted outreach, assisting with proposals & pitches and new biz database maintenance. The role may include coordinating some marketing activities (outbound collateral, events, publicity, digital presence, etc.). Occasionally you may be asked to support the team on certain client projects.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Business Development: Support the Business Development through the following:
- Liaising with Keynote Speakers, CEOs, Start Up CEOs for interviews and follow up
- Assist in managing other eCommerce projects under Vision Group
- Assisting with proposals, and pitch deck to Channel Providers and Resellers
- Assist in user acquisition across several countries
- Assist in the organizing and preparation for the soft launch of business platform
- Maintaining a business development status report for regular sharing with team
- Helping Finance and Client Servicing to coordinate necessary paperwork with new clients
Marketing: Support the Marketing through the following:
- Managing Future Commerce Content list (prospects, clients, media, other contacts)
- Coordinating PR and marketing activities (eg press releases, media interviews, digital presence, mailers, events, conference attendance)
Internship period:
Starting date: as soon as possible
End date: Oct 2018 (based on school’s requirement) (possibility to extend if needed)
Remuneration:
TBD (based on school’s requirement)
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is currently studying business in a University or Polytechnic in Singapore
- Competent in written and spoken English
- Competent with Powerpoint
- Interest in social media and eCommerce/ digital media
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
- Shows a keen interest for new business development
- Can learn fast, work autonomously and be proactive
- Is a Singapore citizen, PR or holds a valid permit to work in Singapore
