Job Description

Purpose of Position

The Customer Service manager will report directly to the marketing manager. They are responsible for the overall management and operation of the customer journey from pre-order (potential customer) enquiries to post order follow up, including customer order rescheduling and feedback.

The Customer Service manager must maintain a solid understanding of The Meat Club product items, member list and procedures at all times in order to deliver the highest level of customer experience.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure customer requests are responded to in a fast and efficient manner
  • Manage, change and advise on customer requests in accordance with The Meat Club procedures
  • Accurately pass on customer requests to the Operations Team to ensure they are actioned
  • Achieve sales growth by generating new sales and upselling to existing customers
  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate payment
  • Communicate with existing customers via email and WhatsApp
  • Maintain customer files with accurate notes for future sales call
  • Perform customer feedback calls and pass on feedback to the Operations Team

Requirements: 

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a personable and approachable disposition
  • Proven experience in a customer service role in the fast-moving consumer goods or eCommerce industries
  • Strong computer/IT acumen including the ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience with Woocommerce for WordPress or other online ordering system will be an added advantage
  • Previous experience with a CRM system will be an added advantage
