Taxi Baby Co. – Accounts Clerk

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Accounts Clerk to join our fun little team.

Tasks

• Enter receipts into Xero, correctly allocating expenses per our chart of accounts and project categories
• Reconcile bank account transactions in Xero
• Monthly reconciliation of multiple payment sources made through online store
• Accounts payable: schedule payments in UOB BIB, ensure bills are paid on time
• Accounts receivable: follow up on late payments from customers
• Basic monthly reporting
• Escalate problems and atypical transactions to management
• Systems used: Xero, Google Sheets, Shopify, TradeGecko, Gmail

Requirements

• Must be detail oriented and capable of working in a small, agile team
• Must have sound knowledge of and experience with Xero accounting software
• Experience with UOB BIB is preferred but not essential
• Experience with Shopify and PayPal is ideal
• At least two years’ relevant work experience

Work hours

• Start date is negotiable
• Initially, this role will be one day per week from our Bukit Merah office
• There is potential to increase the days per week (with commensurate salary)
• There is potential to include flexible work hours and work from home
• Salary will be based on work hours and the applicant's abilities

Eligibility

• This role is not eligible for S-Pass, Work Permit or Employment Pass holders
• Singaporeans, PRs, LTVP+ holders, Dependant Pass holders, and those on Student Passes studying at MOM-approved institutions are welcome to apply
