Job Description

Final-Year Internship Program 2023 – HR Specialist Intern

Are you a diploma student eager to jumpstart your career in the dynamic field of Human Resources? We are excited to offer an opportunity for motivated individuals with no prior experience to join our team as a HR Specialist Intern.

As a HR Specialist Intern at SearchAsia, you'll have the chance to learn about our company and collaborate closely with HR managers to find the most suitable talent for our company. Responsibilities include creating, building, and maintaining networks with potential candidates, as well as arranging and conducting interviews.

Through this internship, you will:

  • Be assigned to a team and a dedicated Supervisor/Mentor, who will provide you with training and guidance during this attachment period.
  • Collaborate with marketing and HR teams to develop and promote our brand. This involves highlighting SearchAsia's values, culture, benefits and opportunities through various channels, such as recruitment websites and social media.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process by posting job openings, conducting initial screenings, assessing candidates' fit for our organisation, and scheduling interviews.
  • Manage our employee onboarding and offboarding processes, e.g. conducting orientations, collecting documentation and coordinating exit interviews to ensure a smooth transition and successful integration into the organisation
  • Any other admin and ad hoc assignments.

Candidates we are looking for:

  • Local polytechnic diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and comfortable with building and maintaining relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
