RIMM Sustainability Intern (Education & Content)
RIMM is looking for an intern to join our Education & Content team which is part of the Sustainability Solution department. Interns will be expected to support the development of educational content materials as well as provide constructive and innovative ideas to RIMM’s sustainability education and training programs for companies and professionals. Interns are also given opportunities to support the dynamic and evolving business needs of a growing start-up and tech company and acquire useful skills in the process of being involved in dynamic workstreams while equipping themselves with relevant knowledge in the sustainability space.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake research in various areas on sustainability/ESG
- Contribute to the development of educational content on sustainability
- Provide support in the development of webinars and educational project and engagement activities in the evolving sustainability space and catering to a wide range of sustainability needs across different companies
- Participate in the development of exciting new projects and engage closely with other teams.
We are looking for some who demonstrates:
- Excellent English language writing aptitude and communication skills, with strong ability to piece together educational content in innovative ways
- Strong MS Office skills, especially with spreadsheet applications such as Excel and Google Spreadsheets, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides. Skills in video editing, presentation, publications, educational content creation and/or design, as well as past experience in organizing in-person/online seminars or workshops will be an added advantage.
- A keen interest and passion in research on sustainability and sustainability-education, with some level of awareness of sustainability areas and trends spanning across environment, social and corporate governance. Experience or knowledge in the areas of sustainable finance, sustainable investing, ESG reporting standards will be a plus
- Self-motivation, independence and interest in working for a young, entrepreneurial firm.
- Experience in educational/content/communication roles is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates and/or current undergraduates with full-time availability are welcome to apply.
- Undergraduates pursuing majors in Sustainability, Mass Communications, Environmental Management, Environmental Economics, Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, Liberal Arts, English language and Literature, Geography, Mass Communications, or other relevant degrees would be an added advantage
