Our software powers company ownership and capital transactions in order to effectively improve liquidity, transparency and accessibility in private capital markets.
Qapita is looking for 2 to 3 Financial Analyst Interns from Jan - April 2021 (Spring Term) to support the team in the following areas:
Financial modeling and scenario analysis (waterfall, financing round, etc)
Assisting clients on capitalisation table & various financial instruments (convertibles, warrants, preference shares, etc) to onboard Qapita platform
Equity management software product development
Capital market transaction processes (due diligence, share issuance, etc) digitization
Investor and client marketing materials preparation
Market research and data analysis
Job Requirements
Current student at a local university, pursuing a degree in business / finance / accounting / banking
Have a good understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts
Have a keen interest in corporate finance and capital markets
Proficient in Microsoft office suite, especially Excel
Prior experience in financial modelling will be a plus
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt and learn quickly; multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment
