Job Description

The Digital Content Producer is responsible for executing projects from concept through delivery. You possess the organisational skills of a project manager, the pixel-perfect obsession of a designer, and the ability to converse fluently with product teams. You are able to take the project and run with it, but also know when to seek help from team members or managers. You strive to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and that all deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic digital and communications all-star intern! You will be directly assisting the VP of Digital and Comms in planning and executing digital content  to meet overall Marketing and Comms objectives and goals, as well as day to day support when required.  

You will also work closely with our digital and marcom team to meet short and long-term company goals and ensure smooth and timely delivery of all plans and activities. Core duties include but not limited to ideation, production, editing of all digital/comms assets whether static or motion. You will work closely with the internal delivery team to produce these assets.  

Responsibilities

  • Research, prepare and distribute online promotional materials via various platforms and channels (presentations, case studies, pamphlets, articles etc) in a strategic, systematic and consistent manner
  • Operate video/audio equipment and write treatments for content ideas
  • Support video projects in a production assistant role
  • Modify existing content for repurposing, as well as assist in producing new content
  • Work with the social media team on content creation

Requirements

  • Self-motivation and discipline to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong desire to learn and a sense of responsibility
  • Savvy with social media and digital marketing tools (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, blog, Mailchimp, Google Adwords etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of video equipment and software, not limited to managing recording equipment and editing final production for delivery
