Job Description

Commitment Period: May – October 2026

Roles & Responsibilities

Most internships will tell you that you will “gain exposure”. This one expects you to be part of the work.

Join Clarion Event’s Energy Portfolio (Enlit Asia) and be part of the team curating one of the region’s largest power and energy events in Southeast Asia.

This role sits within the Content team, where the conference agenda is built and continuously refined. You will be involved in stakeholder discussions, speaker coordination, and the day-to-day process of building a large-scale event programme.

You do not need prior knowledge of the energy sector. What matters more is your ability to work across teams, organise, communicate, and follow through.

If you are organised, curious, and can handle the pace and unpredictability of live events, keep reading.

What you will learn:

Before the Event (where the programme takes shape)

  • Support speakers outreach and coordination, including confirmations and scheduling.
  • Assist in maintaining the conference agenda and speaker database.
  • Follow up with speakers and stakeholders to ensure timely submissions and updates.
  • Help prepare briefing materials, session outlines, and meeting documents.
  • Support research across key topics such as grid development, generation, digitalisation, and industrial energy demand.
  • Work with marketing and operations teams to ensure programme information is accurate across platforms.

Onsite – Jakarta, Indonesia (where it all comes together)

  • Support speaker management across conference sessions.
  • Ensure sessions run according to schedule and speakers are properly prepared.
  • Work closely with onsite operations teams on speaker coordination
  • Interact with senior professionals and observe how discussions are delivered live.

Job Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks clearly and calmly
  • Good written and verbal professional communication skills
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented, with a sense of ownership over work delivered
  • The ability to handle ambiguity without needing everything to be clearly defined
