Job Description

Procurement Admin (Contract Role: 6 Months / 1 Year)


Job Purpose 

  • The primary objective is to assist and support administrative work in the most efficient process to the Strategic Purchasing SEA Team. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform RFQ per Global Category Group Supplier Strategy with Benchmark to optimize, price, delivery, payment and other commercial terms against market standard.
  • Assist and manage new part readiness through qualification or process evaluation.
  • Processing Purchase Requisition and Release and perform confirmation on Purchase Orders.
  • Ensure supplier have updated drawing or delivery instruction documents before release the Purchase order to supplier.
  • Review and Renewal contract qty with supplier at the right price with benchmarking with approved supplier.
  • Assist Strategic Purchasing Team to Support New Product Introduction (NPI) in getting the right supplier, at right price to meet new R&D part. 
  • Ex-stock Searching
  • Perform any other task, duties or project as assigned.

Job Specific Requirements

  • Diploma holders in any discipline are welcome
  • Related administrative support role in Procurement process would be an advantage.
  • Good written and communication in English. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
