YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an AI Intern to join our Healthcare AI initiatives/projects. You will work closely with our engineers, data scientists, and healthcare specialists of our clients, contributing to research-driven projects focused on medical image processing and computer vision. These projects involve working alongside renowned doctors and research teams in Singapore to translate clinical insights into AI-powered solutions.
As an intern, you will:
- Assist in developing and testing computer vision models for healthcare applications.
- Work with AWS SageMaker to train, evaluate, and deploy models.
- Contribute to preprocessing of large-scale medical imaging datasets.
- Experiment with deep learning architectures (CNNs, transformers, segmentation models).
- Document experiments, results, and contribute to technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team with researchers, doctors, and engineers.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE (What We’re Looking For)
- Currently in your 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of Python and deep learning libraries (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to real-world healthcare challenges.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate technical findings clearly.
GOOD TO HAVE EXPERIENCE (Bonus Points)
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services, especially SageMaker.
- Exposure to medical imaging datasets (e.g., X-ray, MRI, CT scans).
- Coursework or project experience in computer vision, image processing, or machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with open-source computer vision libraries (OpenCV, scikit-image).
- Knowledge of healthcare/biomedical research environments.
