Origin Recruitment – Storyteller & Virtual Influencer Marketing Intern

We are looking for a storytelling and influencer marketing intern to join our exciting “virtual influencer” project. Virtual influencers, or CGI influencers are computer generated 3D ‘people’ who have the realistic characteristics, and personalities of real life humans.

Such virtual influencers are changing the influencer marketing industry, and more of them are emerging on Instagram every week, with more and more brands looking to associate themselves with these virtual humans.

This is a unique chance for a highly motivated and creative individual contributor to embark on an adventure with us as we create new virtual avatars! You must be curious, passionate about engaging people as a community, and have savvy story telling skills. Your job is to breathe life and soul into new characters we create. Roles and Responsibilities

You will be responsible to support us in building virtual avatar ambassadors and liaising with virtual influencer producers. You shall support us in characterisation of the virtual character, and creating an engaging personality online. You will help us create the virtual influencer strategy and plan specific campaigns across respective social media platforms for different target audiences.. The scope of work includes and is not limited to:

• Create virtual influencer personalities, and character types, including look and feel of face, hair, make-up, clothes, fashion, style, etc

• Create the voice and story of the virtual avatar on social to ensure tonality consistency across markets and audiences

• Conduct surveys amongst different target audiences and gather feedback

• Scope and liaise with potential partners in production of avatars and digital marketing agencies.

• Formulate basic understanding on technology and tools related to CGI humans

• Establish a local and overseas network of experts and support systems to produce and support these virtual avatars.

• Test and trial with existing avatar apps, assess and review.

• Develop clear vision and strategies for respective social media platforms (Weibo, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, TikTok, Twitter) to drive channel growth and engagement with followers

• Develop and execute content and other engagement tactics to grow an active community across the respective social media platforms

• Manage and work with internal stakeholders and external partners such as marketing agencies and platform owners

Skills/Competencies you need to have

• Creative and have good storytelling skills, and able to write engaging content on social media 

• Expertise in social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok

• Good understanding of the influencer marketing landscape in Singapore, Southeast Asia, China, HK. 

• Good track record with managing and executing social campaigns

• Meticulous, Details-oriented, own execution excellence with a focused eye on managing timelines

• A keen ability in fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders for success
