Position Overview
The SEO & GEO Marketing Intern will assist in improving the company's online visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms. The intern will help optimize website content, conduct keyword research, create SEO-friendly content, and develop strategies to improve discoverability on platforms such as Google Search, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI search engines.
Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize website content, metadata, headings, and internal linking structures.
- Monitor website rankings and search performance using SEO tools.
- Assist in technical SEO audits and website optimization.
- Track and report SEO performance metrics and recommendations.
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Research AI search trends and best practices for AI-generated search results.
- Develop content strategies to improve visibility in AI-powered search platforms.
- Optimize website content for AI retrieval, citations, and knowledge extraction.
- Analyze how O2genes appears across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and other AI assistants.
- Assist in building structured content and knowledge assets for AI discoverability.
Content Marketing
- Create SEO-optimized blog articles, landing pages, and website content.
- Develop educational and thought-leadership content related to healthcare, wellness, and technology.
- Assist with social media content and digital marketing campaigns.
- Support backlink outreach and content partnership initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor website traffic and user engagement using Google Analytics and related tools.
- Prepare performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Track keyword rankings, AI search visibility, and competitor activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
- Knowledge of WordPress or content management systems.
- Understanding of AI search engines and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure.
- Experience creating blog articles, web content, or social media content.
