Job Description
Job responsibilities
- Technical Support
- Provide first-level technical support to end users (hardware, software, network issues).
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems via email, chat, or in person.
- Log, track, and update support tickets in the IT helpdesk system.
- Hardware & Software Setup
- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Support deployment and setup of new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Perform software updates, patch management, and antivirus checks.
- Network & Systems Maintenance
- Support basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity).
- Monitor and maintain network equipment under supervision.
- Assist in managing user accounts, passwords, and permissions (e.g., Active Directory, Office 365).
- Inventory & Documentation
- Maintain IT asset inventory and update records of hardware/software usage.
- Document troubleshooting procedures and user guides.
- Support the preparation of IT reports and documentation.
- Cybersecurity Support
- Assist in enforcing IT security policies and data protection practices.
- Support end-user awareness on safe computing and phishing prevention.
- Project Assistance
- Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades, tech refresh projects, or system rollouts.
- Work closely with the IT team on ad hoc technical projects and testing.
