We are looking for a proactive and outgoing Business Development Intern to help us grow our network, build partnerships, meet potential customers, and support the company’s business growth.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with the founding team to identify new opportunities, attend industry events, connect with potential partners and customers, and support outreach efforts.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, is confident in starting conversations, and wants hands-on exposure to startup growth, partnerships, fundraising, and the AI/fintech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Attend AI, fintech, startup, trading, investing, and technology events on behalf of the company.
- Network with potential partners, customers, investors, founders, communities, and ecosystem players.
- Identify and research potential partnership opportunities with companies, institutions, communities, schools, accelerators, and investor networks.
- Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, Telegram, WhatsApp, and other channels.
- Arrange meetings, product demos, introductions, and follow-up conversations.
- Maintain a database of leads, contacts, event attendees, and partnership opportunities.
- Support the preparation of outreach messages, pitch materials, partnership proposals, and follow-up notes.
- Gather feedback from potential users, partners, and investors.
- Help represent the company professionally at events, meetings, and community sessions.
- Work with the founders to convert promising conversations into real business opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable attending events and speaking to new people.
- Interest in AI, fintech, startups, investing, trading, or technology.
- Proactive, confident, and willing to take initiative.
- Organised and able to track conversations, leads, and follow-ups properly.
- Good written English for outreach messages and follow-ups.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn and other networking platforms.
- Able to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in business development, sales, partnerships, community building, or events.
- Existing network in AI, fintech, finance, trading, universities, or startup communities.
- Comfortable pitching a product or company in a simple and clear way.
- Experience using Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, or other CRM tools.
- Interest in financial markets, crypto, trading, or AI agents.
Ideal Candidate
You are someone who enjoys meeting people and creating opportunities. You are not afraid to approach new contacts, introduce the company, ask questions, and follow up consistently.
You do not need years of experience, but you should be hungry, resourceful, and comfortable representing an early-stage startup.
