Founders Doc – Legal Tech Intern

Months 1–2

• Build a deep understanding of Founders Doc’s corporate legal templates, workflows, and the core mechanics behind foundersdoc.ai.
• Learn to conduct initial data validations on the platform’s contract outputs.
• Master the use of AI tools to process, clean, and convert standard legal materials into structured HTML editions.

Months 3–4

• Take independent ownership of systematic testing tracks for foundersdoc.ai across various corporate agreements, including NDAs, employment agreements, and term sheets.
• Utilise AI tools to troubleshoot formatting, cross-referencing, and structural issues.
• Ensure large volumes of legal data are accurately prepared for platform integration.

Months 5–6

• Assist on more complex fundraising, corporate governance, and corporate structuring matters.
• Propose prompt, workflow, and template improvements based on testing insights.
• Work closely with the internal team to support legal-tech product enhancements from concept through implementation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

1. Legal Support & Document Preparation

Drafting & Reviewing

• Assist with drafting, formatting, reviewing, and quality-controlling standard corporate legal documents, including incorporation documents, NDAs, employment agreements, shareholder agreements, and term sheets.
• Support legal research and prepare summaries of key findings where required.

Compliance & Administration

• Maintain accurate digital corporate records and internal databases.
• Update transaction trackers and support ongoing client matters.
• Assist with document execution processes and administrative workflows.
• Monitor key deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding matters.

2. AI Platform Testing & Quality Control

AI Accuracy Auditing

• Systematically test and stress-test foundersdoc.ai using a variety of legal agreements.
• Identify structural inconsistencies, false positives, and potential platform bugs.
• Compare AI-generated outputs against legal drafting standards and practical legal expectations.

Edge Case Tracking

• Document AI misinterpretations, prompt failures, and technical issues in a structured and actionable manner.
• Work closely with the internal team to improve platform accuracy and reliability.

3. Data Operations & HTML Processing

HTML Edition Formatting

• Leverage generative AI tools to convert, clean, and structure legal templates into optimised HTML formats for platform deployment.

Prompt & Output Validation

• Evaluate AI-generated legal analyses for consistency, accuracy, and usability.
• Validate legal content and data structures before platform integration.

Originality & Integrity

• Ensure all drafted materials, HTML editions, research outputs, and platform content are independently verified and appropriately sourced.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and professional judgement when reviewing AI-assisted work.

4. Content Creation & Knowledge Management

Legal-Tech Content

• Assist with the creation of educational content, platform guidance materials, internal playbooks, and founder-facing resources.
• Support content initiatives that help simplify complex legal concepts for startup founders.

Knowledge Organisation

• Help maintain and improve internal template libraries, prompt libraries, and legal knowledge databases.
• Support ongoing documentation of internal processes and best practices.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Currently pursuing, or recently graduated from, an LLB, Computing & Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in corporate, commercial, startup, or technology law.

AI-Fluent & Tech-Forward

• Comfortable using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and similar technologies as productivity multipliers.
• Interested in prompt engineering, workflow optimisation, data cleaning, and lightweight HTML generation.

Exceptional Attention to Detail

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Able to identify inconsistencies, formatting issues, and drafting errors with precision.

Adaptable & Autonomous

• A self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys solving problems independently.
• Comfortable working across legal, operational, and technology-focused projects.
