Job Description

HR Assistant (4-month Renewable Contract & Part-time Basis)


Responsibilities:

  • Interview arrangements which involves coordination of candidate, recruitment manager and hiring managers' schedules
  • Administering and arranging of assessments & tests for certain roles
  • Employment contract preparation and new joiner onboarding administration
  • Maintain a well-organized and updated database containing digital copies of all staff, candidates and HR documents
  • Part-time / temporary staff recruitment - middle-man between recruitment agencies and hiring managers, verifying and clearing of monthly invoices, and monitoring contract periods
  • Keep updated with local employment laws, rules & regulations such as foreign worker passes, leave matters, etc & align this with HR team from Australia
  • Responsible for all foreign staff pass applications and renewals required by Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
  • Work out a recruitment calendar for year 2018 and 2019 reflecting upcoming university campus activities, and peak graduating & hiring periods
  • Liaise closely with universities on campus engagement activities and planning of campus talks, and signing up for relevant university recruitment / networking events
  • Assist employees with company medical insurance questions
  • Help the office and business units with administrative requests
  • Provide sound advice on HR related topics
  • All other tasks, projects or duties assigned by Talent Acquisition Manager

Requirements:

  • MUST be currently residing in Singapore
  • Available to commence work asap
  • Diploma holder in any specialization
  • Have maximum of 2 to 3 years of general HR admin experience
  • Have a genuine interest in Human Resource and carving a career in this field
  • Strong command of written and verbal English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Meticulous, neat and a very organized individual
  • Proactive, initiative and highly responsible for duties entrusted to her / him
  • Takes pride in producing high quality work
  • Service-oriented, patient and keen to satisfy key stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills
  • Able to work independently and happy to engage in self-learning

This is a 4-Month Contract position that is renewable based on circumstances working up to the contract end date. 

This is also a part-time role, so the candidate will have to commit either from 9am to 1pm, or 2pm to 6pm, every Monday to Friday.
