Company Summary: Med1st is a business consulting firm in medical travel and hospital management services. Including its predecessor, Med1st has served over 9,000 international patients seeking healthcare services in Singapore and has a network of over 150 specialists and six hospitals including Farrer Park, Raffles, Parkway, TTSH, NUH and Mt. Alvernia. Currently, our main patients are VIPs from China seeking medical services in Singapore.

Major products and services include:

1) Medical travel services including air ambulance, ground ambulance, comprehensive coverage of doctors and hospitals for major medical problems and health screening services.

2) Hospital management services helping Chinese healthcare groups to import doctors and hospital management expertise in Singapore.

3) Hospital IT Applications consulting including EMS, HIS and CRM.

Job Description

Position Available: Administrative Operation Interns


Responsible for providing administrative support to the management, main tasks include:

General Administrative Operation:

§ General administrative tasks include basic HR work, receive and reply to general mail and phone calls, filing, booking air travel tickets, translation among English and Chinese documents, prepare various reports in English and Chinese, perform general research on Internet, liaise with relevant parties on projects as instructed by senior management, keep track of schedules for reporting to various government agencies, prepare basic presentations.

Accounting/Finance:

§ Prepare and update book keeping document, prepare business reimbursement reports, prepare payroll information for Corporate Secretary to make payroll, keep track and prepare financial reports for relevant reporting, work with Corporate Secretary and Accounting Company to ensure all mandatory reporting is done on time and correctly.

Liaise with Partners:

§ May liaise with our corporate partners - including patients, doctors, hospitals, suppliers, Corporate Secretary, Company Accountant, etc.

Market Research:

§ Conduct extensive research, via Internet and other channels, and basic planning.

Report to:

Marketing Manager.

Pre-Requisites: 

§ A degree or diploma holder or current student

§ Must have completed at least 3 accounting classes

§ Preferably with healthcare services experiences

§ Fluent in English and Chinese (patients are mainly VIPs from China)

§ Meticulous in handling daily work

§ Excellent in communication and people skills

§ Analytical and meticulous by nature

§ Excellent in multi-tasking

§ Desired to excel in his/her career

§ A savvy Internet user

§ A happy person who works well in a team environment

§ A self-starter and an innovative problem solver

§ Excellence in academic achievement (B+ or above)

§ In-depth expertise in MS Office

§ Eager to learn new business skills

§ Willingness to strive in a fast pace environment

§ A minimum of 1 year working experiences (including internships)

Notes:

§ We seek two PT interns at 10-15 hours a week each.

§ Our office is in Jurong but most of the work can be done via Internet.
