About the Role.
We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and passionate Social Media Marketing Intern to help market local immersive experiences and festivals. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you’ll be responsible for managing social media pages to increase reach and followers. You will generally work on copywriting and graphic design, primarily focusing on creating social media content and managing influencer marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement content strategies to increase engagement and followers on social media platforms
- Write engaging and kickass copywriting
- Get hands-on creating content - graphic design, photography, videography, and editing images and videos
- Manage social media content calendars - schedule and publish posts, monitor and make adjustments to improve engagement
- Assist with social media analyses reports
- Manage our community - monitor and respond promptly to social media comments, queries and DMs on social media channels
- Assist in event coordination and on-ground support
- Assist in influencer marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently an undergraduate pursuing a major in Marketing/Communication Studies/Graphic Design or related fields
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creative writing
- An eye for design, aesthetics, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), with knowledge of After Effects and/or Premiere Pro a plus
- Proficient in Google Drive functions
- Prior experience managing social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) is a plus
