Job Description
What the Role Entails:
As a PR & Social Media Intern, you'll be part of a small yet dynamic team to support communications, PR and social media campaigns for clients. You'll gain experience in the following areas:
- Support communications activities for clients in the planning, execution and measurement stages of both PR and social media campaigns.
- Draft and edit media materials and social media copy and graphics.
- Administrative support for media engagement activities, including media pitching, media liaison and RSVPs.
- Media and industry research and intelligence for client and new business pitches.
- Media monitoring and reporting for PR and social media.
- Reporting and administration support for meetings, reporting, etc.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or business administration or Diploma with some relevant working experience.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Interest in business news, newsmakers and news production will be a plus.
