Job Description

Marketing & Business Development Intern (5-day Work Week)


The following job description is a combination of duties, responsibilities and expected performance indicators for this position.

The purpose of the Intern to the Marketing and Business Development team is to support the strategy and execution for all marketing activity, communications, events, and media activities for The Super Loco Group. You will assist the Group marketing & business development manager in all aspects when needed.

You are required to work two shifts per week as host at an outlet, to better understand the operations and nature of the restaurant in relation to the marketing and business development aspects of the company. The host in The Super Loco Group is to be the ambassador for the restaurant, in other words, the first point-of-contact for guests — whether it is through email, over the phone or in-person when greeting and seating. To handle reservation enquiries, manage bookings and report on customer service feedback. To be the communication person between guests and staff/kitchen in order to ensure smooth service and an enjoyable dining experience. To build a rapport with guests and assist the managers in accommodating special requests or handling difficult patrons. To control the flow of the restaurant during peak periods by being aware of the on-goings of the restaurant at all times.
