About KrASIA

Founded in 2017, KrASIA is an English-language media platform covering business and technology developments in Asia, with a focus on Chinese companies and their links to the global economy. Its content is widely read in Southeast Asia and syndicated through platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal and Dow Jones Factiva, reaching a global readership.

About 36Kr Global

36Kr Global is a media solutions company focused on bridging opportunities between China and the world. Headquartered in Beijing, it delivers insights and on-the-ground expertise to help businesses navigate challenges as they pursue growth in China and adjacent economies.

36Kr Global comprises multiple brands that support client success, including KrASIA, 36Kr Chuhai, and 36Kr Japan. It is also affiliated with 36Kr, a China-based media company focused on technology and financial developments.

Job Description

Scope of work:

  • Develop and produce content in a range of formats, including articles, blurbs, social media posts, newsletters, videos, and other materials. Most work will be for KrASIA and the 36Kr Global network, with occasional assignments for clients and partners.

  • Manage KrASIA’s pipeline of content translations and adaptations using in-house workflows.

  • Maintain and improve internal content-related processes, including ad scheduling, automations, and other areas as needed.

  • Monitor and analyze key platform indicators, including web traffic, SEO, and GEO.

  • Participate in activities and events alongside our growth and business development teams.

Skills and traits we’re looking for:

  • A strong instinct for what good writing reads like, and what it can make readers feel.

  • Interest in understanding what AI can (and cannot) do, along with a willingness to learn how to use the technology, together with other tools, to improve content creation and related workflows.

  • Self-awareness to identify knowledge gaps, formulate questions, and seek the information needed to move tasks forward.

  • Fluency in Chinese, which is required to communicate and collaborate with Chinese-speaking coworkers and counterparts, and to review Chinese-language materials from time to time. Producing Chinese-language content is outside this role’s scope.

You may be an ideal candidate if:

  • You have at least one year of experience producing content, whether in a personal, internship, or professional capacity.

  • You keep up with technology trends and have the judgment to look beyond broad terms like AI or Web3 to understand the deeper nuances behind them.

  • You are career-elastic, meaning you are still building a diverse skill set and are not yet looking to specialize in one narrow area.

  • You have professional or native proficiency in English.

Don’t meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply nonetheless. Our needs may evolve, and we’re open to discussing how you might fit into this role.
