The Non Season, Public Art Activation @Design Orchard
17th February – 10th April 2022
The Non Season presented by Hyphen BB is a public art activation at Design Orchard
supported by NAC and STB, featuring over 20 Singaporean/ Singapore-based artists and
designers during the period of 17 Feb – 10 April 2022. The initiative aims to activate and
drive footfall to Design Orchard and the larger Orchard Road precinct through visually
impactful, humorous and immersive public art activation(s) as well as multi-disciplinary
programmes.
The Non Season encourages a rethinking of Orchard Road precinct’s history and legacy,
spurring renewed interest and curiosity in the area and its past.
Hyphen BB is curating and managing a public arts activation at Design Orchard and we are looking for individuals with an interest in the arts or who would like to learn how an arts event is run.
Positions include internships for onsite project coordinators
Job scope includes:
- Providing information to the public for artist works
- Coordination for Onsite Programming which may include ushering, ticketing, safety and crowd control
- Assist in onsite production management for start of day/ end of day
- Overseeing social distancing & safety measures
- General Administration
Event dates: 17 Feb 2022 - 10 Apr 2022
We're looking for individuals who can
-commit to a block period of time within the event dates or
-commit to the entire duration with a few shifts in a week
AM Shift - 10.30am - 4.30pm / PM SHIFT- 3.30pm - 9.30pm / Both Shifts in a day
