Job Description

This position reports to the Deputy CEO and needs to interface with the various business units. The candidate will be required to work independently and be resourceful in carrying out the duties assigned. Our Management staff will be on hand to provide guidance where necessary.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide effective and efficient human resource services to support business growth and operations.
  • Appreciate business and operations requirements and challenges and plan, organize and implement human resource initiatives to support business growth and operations.
  • Work closely with line and function heads to support them in manpower planning (including annual manpower budgeting), acquisition, deployment and monitoring of manpower level.
  • Prepare job specifications, review and shortlist job applicants for line and functional heads to interview, follow-up with successful job candidates on job offer.
  • Prepare and refresh orientation materials and conduct orientation for new employees.
  • Work closely with line and functional heads to plan, initiate and organize training programmes and development activities to make the employees more effective and competent.
  • Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
