Horizon Labs – Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern to help build and grow Hethena's online presence from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing content, managing social channels, and driving brand awareness and traffic to www.hethena.com. This is a hands-on role where your work will have direct, visible impact on a real product in the healthcare-AI space.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree, ideally from leading universities such as NUS, NTU, SUTD, or SMU, while still considering strong candidates from other institutions.
• Strong academic performance, ideally distinction or above, alongside evidence of initiative, ownership, and high-quality execution.
• Comfortable using AI tools beyond simple chat workflows to accelerate content creation, research, and scheduling.
• High attention to detail and discipline in checking facts, requirements, and deliverables before sharing work.
• Able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong interest in brand building, content marketing, and social media strategy.
• Creative eye for design and storytelling, with experience using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite.
• Excellent written communication skills — you can write punchy, on-brand copy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage Hethena's social media presence across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, etc.)
• Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with Hethena's brand voice and product milestones.
• Create engaging short-form content — including graphics, reels, carousels, and copy — that drives traffic to www.hethena.com.
• Monitor social media metrics and provide weekly performance reports with actionable insights.
• Research trends, competitor strategies, and audience behaviour to refine content strategy.
• Collaborate with the Horizon Labs design, product, and growth teams to amplify key launches and campaigns.
• Engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
• Assist in growing the Hethena email list and website traffic through social media funnels.
