Tasty Toastys is a Singapore-born character and lifestyle brand on a mission to make everyday life feel a little warmer and toastier. Created by artist and founder Chanel Lee, our expressive toast characters come to life through collectible plushies, blind boxes, stationery, bags and playful collaborations.

From the first sketch to a product on a retail shelf, we bring together storytelling, design and the hands-on work of building a brand. Our world spans online content, retail stockists, pop-ups and collaborations.

About the role

Help bring Tasty Toastys products from behind-the-scenes preparation to retail shelves and customers’ doorsteps.

Working directly with our founder, Chanel, you’ll gain hands-on experience in retail operations, e-commerce fulfilment, visual merchandising, product sourcing and project coordination.

Retail stockist support and order fulfilment are the core of this role. If time permits, you may also help create sales-support materials and coordinate ongoing product and brand projects.

What you’ll do

Retail stockists & inventory

• Prepare and pack stockist orders and replenishments, checking quantities and product condition
• Assist with stock counts, maintain inventory records and flag low stock or discrepancies
• Help maintain the look and presentation of our stockist displays, including product arrangement, price labels and signage
• Keep stock and packing materials organised and easy to locate

E-commerce & event operations

• Pick, check and pack online orders accurately and prepare them for dispatch
• Assist with product listing updates and related administrative records
• Prepare stock, packaging and display materials for events and pop-ups
• Check and reconcile returned stock after events

Creative support for sales

• Create simple retail signage, product cards and promotional layouts using Canva
• Edit, crop and resize product photos for online listings and retail materials
• Adapt existing brand assets into the required sizes and formats, keeping the presentation consistent

Sourcing & project coordination

• Research suppliers, materials and production options based on project briefs
• Compare quotations, minimum order quantities, lead times and sample details
• Assist with supplier enquiries and follow-ups, keeping information and next steps organised
• Maintain task lists and timelines for assigned projects, and flag delays or missing information
• Help coordinate samples and production updates under the founder’s guidance

What we’re looking for

• Organised, reliable and attentive to detail
• Comfortable with hands-on packing, stock handling and display upkeep
• Basic Canva skills, an eye for clear layouts and familiarity with spreadsheets
• Willing to learn, ask questions and communicate progress
• An interest in retail, products and creative brands
• Basic conversational Mandarin for liaising with Chinese-speaking suppliers; translation tools may be used for written communication

What you’ll learn
You’ll gain practical experience in inventory management, retail and e-commerce fulfilment, visual merchandising, supplier research and project coordination. You’ll work closely with Chanel, who will guide priorities and approve supplier selection, spending and production decisions.

Work arrangements

• For Full-Time, our working hours are Monday - Friday, 9:30am – 6:30pm, including a one-hour lunch break. 
• For Part-Time/Flexi, open to discussing the arrangement during the working hours, on a case-by-case basis, with a min. 20 hours/week & 3 months commitment.
• Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
