Job Description

Greenwillow is currently looking for interns to assist with our Venture Capital fund investing into early stage companies focused on healthcare and smart city technologies. If you are passionate about technology innovation, business transformation and navigating uncharted waters, this is an excellent opportunity to grow personally and professionally with us. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Investments
  • Research into industry trends, market data and technologies to develop in house knowledge for evaluation of relevant start up, business plans and financial projections.
  • Conduct due diligence for pipeline projects, including customer reference calls, market research, technology validation and financial analysis.
  • Preparation of investment papers and review of term sheets and legal documentation.
  • Asset Management
  • Work with portfolio companies to prepare short to mid-term business plans, marketing strategy and financial budgets.
  • Assist portfolio companies to set up new systems and processes post funding, including hiring plans, creating templates for regular management reports, and financial controls.
  • Attend regular business updates from portfolio companies, and review of their growth milestones.
  • Portfolio Management
  • Gather, analyze, and organize investment information and insights of potential investee companies to develop templates and procedures to track investment activities.
  • Preparation of quarterly investors reports for the fund and updating of fund performance and portfolio activities onto our enterprise systems.
  • Preparation of fund models and cashflow projections.
  • Additional ad-hoc activities as and when required by the team.

Requirements

  • Available from March 2022 – August 2022. Part-time internships can be discussed.
  • Degree in IT/Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related majors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Chinese).
  • Highly motivated with a desire to learn and network with other professionals across industries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, with some experience in financial modelling preferred.
