Grange Partners is a proprietary private equity firm that has already made over 30 investments across Southeast Asia, America and Sri Lanka with profitable exits.
Our interns will be working closely with the Director and Founder of Grange Partners who has extensive investment experience with portfolios ranging from Healthcare, Education, Financial Services, Telecom, F&B/Retail and Consumer IoT/Tech.
Not only will our interns be learning on the job, they will also have the chance to learn key aspects of venture capital investing that could set their career and future up with success.
General Tasks:
- Monitor financial or operational performance of individual investments to ensure portfolios meet risk goals
- Assist in the selection or direct the execution of trades
- Develop or implement fund investment policies or strategies
- Carry out research projects on investment ideas
- Investment evaluation in promising new startups in South East Asia
- Analyse portfolio developments and provide updates to investors through regular publications.
Requirements:
- Must have a personal interest in investments (in any form)
- Must be a graduate or in the second/final year of their Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business or equivalent
- Have an understanding of the finance industry, and ideally private markets
- Proficient in computer systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Be punctual, professional and have a positive attitude
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal) with a high attention to detail.
- The ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision
- Have their own laptop
